History enthusiasts will want to visit Drummond Hill Cemetery located on Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls. This historical cemetery is located on the site of one of the most violent battles of the War of 1812, the Battle of Lundy’s Lane. The cemetery is one of the oldest in the area and Niagara’s earliest settlers are buried here alongside both American and Canadian soldiers who died defending their country during the War of 1812. There is also a monument honouring the life of Canadian heroine Laura Secord who is buried here along with her husband.
